Other: Of a different character or quality
I got in a short discussion about being "Other". How God is the ultimate OTHER... the Ultimate difference from Man and yet we are created in His Image. When we come into this faith we are called to become Other. "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:2 ESV)
It's said a different way later in Hebrews 12:4, "Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord."
The word Holy in both Greek and Hebrew literally translates to mean SEPARATE or OTHER.
So in this Lent Season strive to have peace with one another and to be OTHER to be HOLY. To transform your thoughts to those that are of God. To put His will over your own wants and desires.

I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud
by William Wordsworth
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced, but they
Out-did the sparkling leaves in glee;
A poet could not be but gay,
In such a jocund company!
I gazed—and gazed—but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced, but they
Out-did the sparkling leaves in glee;
A poet could not be but gay,
In such a jocund company!
I gazed—and gazed—but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
The title of this Blog may be the exact way I feel. So for the few people who may possibly read this a small picture into my head. Let me clarify. England is where I feel led... Where I know God was calling Zach and therefore I'm happy to be here. I am incredibly happy to be married to Zach. We can spend hours talking and laughing. OUR relationship is Amazing... I wouldn't trade it for anything. That being said... there are NO people remotely close to my age or that share anything in common with me. I feel so lonely. I guess its my social side in need of friends. I also have no job... which leads me to the glaringly obvious idea that I'm not NEEDED in this place. Makes for a crappy day... Nothing to do. No one to see. Waiting. Waiting for Zach to get done with the work he loves and enjoys. Mind you... He wants more than me for me to be happy and find something I LOVE to do. Sadly, I just can't find anything to do. I guess I'll continue my escape in books!! On to Lord of the Rings.
